Danyella Dunn
Danyella Dunn is an indie filmmaker located in Houston, Texas, with a deep love for humans and visual storytelling.
Her passion for film began when she was a little girl making mermaid videos with her older sister and her friends. Around the same time, Danyella became fascinated with neuroplasticity and how people can improve themselves by changing how they think. As she grew up, she discovered how her two loves could come together. Observing the capacity film has to impact people, both negatively and positively, Danyella is passionate about inspiring others to be fully themselves by creating films that spark authentic conversations.
With a bachelor’s in Psychology and Cinematic Arts, she explores what it means to be human and expresses that understanding through the frame.
Her experience on sets, from serving as a Talent Coordinator Intern on The Chosen to assistant directing and supporting award-winning shorts, she’s seen that filmmaking is as much about people as it is about the picture.
“I believe stories can impact lives, and I’m here to tell them well”
